You’ll find this carefully restored 1815 log cabin both a fun adventure and a unique, inexpensive luxury. You’ll be close to both Dayton and Columbus and very near Springfield, Ohio in Clark county. You and your party have exclusive use of the cabin during your stay. Easily accommodates up to six guests on three floors.

Professional woodwrights carefully restored this cabin using its original timbers, then updated it with modern plumbing, electrical and heating systems.
- 1200+ square feet, sleeping on three levels – 2nd floor loft, main floor, with walk-out lower level
- 1-1/2 modern baths plus a hot outdoor shower
- Efficiency kitchen stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and spices, if you care to do any cooking yourself.

Located in Clark county on the eastern side of the Dayton-Springfield metro area — south and slightly east of Springfield, Ohio. This one-of-a-kind B&B cabin is immediately off US 42, a scenic route that spans from Cincinnati to Cleveland. It’s an easy drive to or from Springfield and Dayton. The outskirts of Columbus are an easy drive of 45 minutes.

Pull up to the left side of the cabin onto the lit concrete parking pad for easy unloading.
It’s usually easiest if you park at the top of the hill beside the cabin on the concrete parking area and enter through the screened in porch. You should find everything you need will be set out for you. Generally, everything in the cabin is there for your use.
There’s a half bath on the main floor.
The main tub and shower bath is downstairs as is the separate laundry room with a stacked washer/dryer.

When you arrive, walk into the screened porch then through the back door.
You may use the fireplace – just follow the directions and guidelines. Fire extinguisher is in the stairwell going downstairs.
